The 4-Year Cycle Is Dead. Bitcoin Isn’t.
Bitcoin closed out the year by breaking narratives, not promises. Old cycle models failed, public trust in institutions eroded further, and traditional banks quietly began using Bitcoin as collateral, all while the media stopped pretending Bitcoin was dying. Seventeen years in, Bitcoin isn’t following scripts anymore, and that’s exactly the point.
