🟠 Strategy's New Vehicle Just Bought 4,535 BTC in Four Days

Strategy launched STRC as a separate capital vehicle, and it wasted no time.
Four days. 4,535 BTC. The buying arm Saylor built to run alongside the original MSTR treasury is already operational at scale.
This is not a one-company story anymore. Strategy is now running parallel acquisition vehicles, each raising and deploying capital independently.
The original MSTR thesis was: one company, one balance sheet, maximum bitcoin exposure. STRC is what happens when that model gets duplicated. More capital pools. More buying pressure. Less supply available for everyone else.
🇯🇵 Metaplanet Is Back. 5,075 BTC After 120 Days of Silence.

Japan's largest corporate Bitcoin holder went 120 days without a public purchase. Then this week, 5,075 BTC in one move, bringing total holdings to 40,177 BTC.
The pause had people asking questions. The answer was a $636 million yen acquisition.
Metaplanet is not following Strategy's cadence. They operate differently, disclose differently, and move on their own timeline. But the direction has not changed.
40,177 BTC held by a publicly traded Japanese company. That number keeps going up.
⚠️ GameStop Bought Bitcoin. Then Gave Coinbase Permission to Rehypothecate It.

GameStop made headlines when it announced a bitcoin treasury strategy. What came out this week is more complicated.
The company pledged $368.3 million in bitcoin to Coinbase as collateral. Because Coinbase can rehypothecate or redeploy those coins, GameStop no longer classifies the assets as directly held. It now records a receivable, the right to claim equivalent BTC back later.
That is not the same as holding bitcoin.
The position is tied to a counterparty. It sits with derivatives. GameStop booked a $59.7 million unrealized loss on the position at fiscal year-end.
Buying bitcoin and then pledging it to a counterparty who can lend it out is not a bitcoin treasury strategy. It's a bet on the price with someone else holding the asset. Not your keys. Not your coins. And how many bitcoin are there really?
🏦 BlackRock Filed a Ticker for a Bitcoin Yield ETF

BlackRock filed the ticker $BITA for a new Bitcoin premium income ETF. The structure is designed to generate yield on bitcoin exposure, a yield-focused product built on top of their existing Bitcoin ETF lineup.
This is not a spot ETF. It's a more complex instrument layered on top of one.
But the direction is worth noting. BlackRock is not done building Bitcoin products. They launched the spot ETF, it became the fastest-growing ETF in history, and now they're expanding the product line for income-oriented investors who want bitcoin exposure without just holding it.
Wall Street's biggest asset manager keeps adding bitcoin products. The pipeline is not slowing down.
💻 The WSJ Ran Another Quantum Bitcoin Scare. Here's What's Actually True.

Google published a research paper raising concerns about quantum computing's potential to break Bitcoin's cryptographic security. The Wall Street Journal covered it. Bitcoin Twitter noticed.
This exact story runs every 12 to 18 months. Each time, the framing is roughly the same: quantum computers are coming, Bitcoin's encryption could be vulnerable, the timeline is uncertain but the threat is real.
What the coverage leaves out: Bitcoin developers have been working on post-quantum cryptography for years. The protocol can be upgraded. It has been upgraded before. The question is not whether Bitcoin can adapt, it's whether the timeline gives developers enough runway, and current estimates suggest it does.
The more interesting question is why this story gets published when it does. Bitcoin was sitting near $68k when the WSJ piece dropped. Draw your own conclusions.

VIDEO OF THE WEEK
The global economy didn’t slowly weaken. It snapped. In just 72 hours, multiple countries triggered emergency measures while markets, food supply chains, and financial systems showed deep cracks. This is not noise. It’s the early stage of a massive shift in wealth and power. The question is whether you see it in time.
